In my circle, we talk a lot about surrendering. Letting it go. Giving it up to God (or the Universe, or the Divine, or whomever you believe in, if you believe) and releasing any attachment to the process or outcome.
I truly believe in letting go and letting God take over, but only after I’ve made my decisions. I let go of the outcome. I surrender to what will be.
We still need to make decisions. We still need to choose a path that feels right for our soul. Only after we do that can we “let go”. Life was not meant to be driven on autopilot. It’s meant to be lived, full out.
I haven’t alway made the best choices, but they were the right choices. To get me exactly where I needed to be – right here.
Make choices. Make mistakes. Let those choices guide you to the path that you are meant to be on. Stop giving your power away.
